iText was developed and is run by smsweb (Pty) Ltd.

smsweb provides schools with an SMS messaging service, and with more than 300 schools across the country we are always attuned to the needs of our schools.

We affect the lives of over 200,000 learners, and currently send over a million messages a month to parents and teachers across South Africa. The goal of our company is to increase communication between schools and parents. Parental involvement in a child's life and school work is one of the most important factors in the success of a child at school.

PornBlocker - enabling parents to block their children's cell phones from accessing pornographic content.

CRS - a solution allowing SMS replies from parents in lieu of the traditional tear-off slip in school circulars.
